The Sharpie S-Gel is one of my personal favorite pens. Not only does it write smoothly, but the design of the pen creates a great user experience. One of the most important details is the grip. It is made of a rubbery material and is lightly textured to ensure that it is not slippery. It is also equally comfortable for left and right-handed people and for those who may hold their pens in unconventional ways.
The spacing between the grip and the clip at the end is optimal because it is unlikely to interfere with writing, but isn’t too long that the pen becomes uncomfortable to hold. The clip is a great feature of the S-Gel pen because it is able to grip even a thin surface, but not so tight that it dents any pages. It is made of strong plastic and is securely fastened to the pen so it is unlikely to break off.
The branding is exactly what you would expect from Sharpie, so it is easily identified as a trusted brand by consumers. The combination of white and grey/silver is appealing and stands out from pens that are more conventional colors like black and blue.
